Saturday Art Club

The clubs studio is based in our beautiful Sheffield Institute of Arts, Head Post Office in Fitzalan Square. The Club programmes are tailored individually by tutors and all designed to encourage exploration and spark creativity. As part of their activities, Club Members take part in Masterclasses with leading industry professionals, come together for an inspirational visit to London, and show their work in a major public exhibition at Somerset House.

This year we created self-portraits with Artists Jim McElvaney. Explored printmaking with designer Aprille Broomhead of Scarlett and Valentine. Created banners with maker extraordinaire Anna Wiggins, Made Jewellery with Alumni Florence Carter, learnt about the possibilities of technology with Tanya Fish and had an subject specific session by each of our four student assistants.

Event Saturday 29th June 4:30 – 6:30pm.
