Technology pioneered by experts at Sheffield Hallam has been championed by the Police. In a front page Yorkshire Post article on unsolved burglaries, the Assistant Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police notes the technology could "be a real step change in forensic work". National statistics show that on average four out of five burglaries go unsolved.
