Sheffield's biggest student-led exhibition launches this week, showcasing talent from creative art, design, fashion, photography, film and animation at Sheffield Hallam University.

The Sheffield Institute of Arts (SIA) at Hallam opens its doors to the public on Friday 10 June for its 2016 Degree Show at venues across the campus, including the new home of SIA - the former Head Post Office in Fitzalan Square.

With origins dating back to 1843, Sheffield Institute of Arts is at the heart of Sheffield's creative community, and has produced many successful artists.

Head of the Sheffield Institute of Arts, Professor Sally Wade, said: "The annual Degree Show is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come and see some really creative work by students of nearly 20 different disciplines.

"We have a long heritage of exceptional talent passing through SIA, including people like Jarvis Cocker, Nick Park and Warp Films' Mark Herbert, and the show will give members of the public the chance to see work by potentially the next generation of cultural icons."

One of the highlights of the Degree Show, which runs until 24 June, is the fashion show at the Millennium Gallery on Friday 17 June, featuring the outstanding designs from this year's crop of students.

The Degree Show is one of the biggest student exhibitions in the North, and attracts interest from national industry experts as well as those with an interest in the arts. The 2016 exhibition includes work from the following disciplines:
