Following the story that some 20,000 Tesco Bank customers had money stolen from their account, Senior Lecturer in Computer Systems and Networks Dr David Day was interviewed by the BBC for several of their TV, radio and online output.

Dr Day discussed what is thought to be the most serious hack on the UK banking sector in recent history and was interviewed live on the BBC News Channel, which was also used on BBC One's lunchtime news. Dr Day was also interviewed for BBC News at 6pm and 10pm - (view feature here from 13:22 and Dr Day from 15:05) again on BBC One.

His interview appeared on the BBC News website live feed (see 14:25) and his interview was also used by all of the regional BBC radio programmes across the UK as well Jeremy Vine's BBC Radio 2 show and BBC 6Music News.
