Research by Dr Paul Aleixo, senior lecturer in psychology, about the use of comic books as text books, is covered across national, broadcast and regional media.

Dr Alexio was interviewed on the BBC Radio 4's Today programme by John Humphreys about his research in to comic books as a superior educational tool to the traditional text book. Listen here from 2:53:00 and see the BBC website story here.

The research was covered in an extensive feature by The Guardian, and appeared in the Daily Mirror, Yahoo News, The Sun, i, Irish Examiner, and Yorkshire Post.

The research was also syndicated by the Press Association, resulting in dozens of articles in regional newspapers across the UK and radio stations including Hallam FM and BBC Radio York. 

Dr Alexio also wrote an aritcle for The Conversation about the research.
