Issued:14/02/19

BBC Click, the BBC's leading technology programme, visited Sheffield recently to learn about how our researchers are looking into the ways virtual reality can be used by children going through injury rehabilitation.

Research, led by Ivan Phelan, research associate games developer, worked with experts from Sheffield Children's Hospitals to develop two VR games which are being used to help children recover from hand and arm injuries.

BBC Click runs on the BBC News Channel and BBC World Service throughout the week, with the report also featuring on BBC Breakfast and as standalone package on the news channel.

You can read more about the project here and in the above episode of BBC Click, with the report beginning just after 12 minutes in.
