GCSE Roadshow comes to Sheffield Hallam University

Introducing the new Science GCSEs

The Science Learning Network for Derbyshire, Yorkshire and the North East presents a new teacher event in partnership with the Sheffield Institute of Education on Wednesday 11th November 2015.

This course brings together the major Awarding Organisations and allows Science Teachers to question each on their plans for the new Science Curriculum.  If you can only attend one conference on GCSE specifications this Autumn, make sure it is this one.  With awarding organisations on hand to answer your questions and a session on planning the KS4 curriculum, this is a must attend event!

Are you undecided which GCSE specification to choose?

Have you already made up your mind but have some questions?

Do you want to know about new qualifications on offer?

If the answer to any of these questions is ‘Yes’ then come along to our Roadshow, where the Awarding Organisations will be able to offer answers and spell out the differences between the old GCSE specifications and the new.

You will also have the opportunity to network with colleagues from other schools, hear how they are planning to deliver their curriculum and reflect on your own offer.  This course brings together the four major Awarding Organisations and allows Science Teachers to question each on their plans for the new Science Curriculum.  If you can only attend one conference on GCSE specifications this Autumn, make sure it is this one, with awarding organisations on hand to answer your questions and a session on planning the KS4 curriculum, this is a must attend event.
