Guidance for improving e-safety in primary schools (2011)

This qualitative project funded by the TDA investigated good practice around e-safety that primary schools had made in light of safeguarding changes to the Ofsted inspection criteria.

The research involved case studies in two primary schools involving interviews with head teachers, the designated safeguarding lead, teachers and teaching assistants, and focus groups with pupils from year four to six. The output was a guidance document for primary schools, local authorities and regional broadband consortia.
