Research carried out by Sheffield Hallam for Welcome to Yorkshire found that tourism is worth £8bn to the region's economy. The research was led by Dr Emma Martin, head of department service sector management in Sheffield Business School.

Dr Martin was interviewed by BBC Radio Sheffield [01:42:10] about the findings.
